Meet Brenda
Brenda Ross brings over 20 years of comprehensive legal expertise to My Law Office Managers and From Lawyer to Law Firm. She launched her career as a legal receptionist and progressively advanced through pivotal roles including paralegal manager, operations manager, and firm administrator. Her extensive experience eventually led her to become a law practice management consultant.
With a strong foundation in Computer Science and certifications in Project Management, Brenda specializes in designing and implementing efficient processes and systems that optimize law firm operations, enhance productivity, and drive revenue growth. Her strategic approach ensures that firms operate smoothly and profitably.

- Adjunct Professor: Teaches Civil Law and Procedures at St. Petersburg College’s Paralegal Program.
- Published Author: Authored textbooks used in two of Florida's ABA-approved Paralegal Studies programs.
- NALA Contributor: Actively involved with the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
- Advisory Board Member: Serves on the board for two ABA-approved Paralegal Studies programs in Florida.

Meet Liz
Liz Miller earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2007, followed by a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in finance. In 2015, she founded From Lawyer to Law Firm, where she has dedicated herself to helping attorneys efficiently manage the administrative side of their practices, focusing on “managing the business of practicing law®.”
Liz is actively involved in the legal community and serves on the editorial advisory board of Law Office Manager magazine. She holds memberships with several professional organizations, including the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Solo and Small Firm Practitioner Section of the HCBA, the Clearwater Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Society of Human Resource Managers.
An accomplished author, Liz has written multiple books aimed at improving law firm management, such as From Lawyer to Law Firm – How to Manage a Successful Law Business, Hacking Billable Hours, and Delegate or Suffocate: How to Stop Doing Everything Yourself!. Her work provides valuable insights for legal professionals striving to optimize their practice management.
